INTRODUCTION TO THE FACULTY
The Department of Mathematics was established on January 10, 2003; After that, the University established the Faculty of Information Technology. On July 1, 2013, the two units merged to form the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Education.
On March 21, 2018, the Department of Mathematics Education was established from the Department of Mathematics and Information Education. On September 10, 2020, the Department of Mathematics and Information Education was re-established on the basis of merging the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Information Technology.
On February 19, 2024, School of Education of Dong Thap University was established; The Faculty is a training unit of the School of Education.

The Faculty is also responsible for teaching Mathematics and Information Technology for other majors in the School.

Currently, the Faculty has 28 officials, including 05 Associate Professors and 11 Doctors, organized into 2 departments: Department of Mathematics Pedagogy and Department of Informatics Pedagogy.
